i absolutely refuse to PAY a FEE to get my monitor recycled. NO. i am not going to pay to give something away, lol, even if it does not work any more.
would it be a bad idea, though, to just throw it in my blue can to be picked up by mister
The trash man won't take it. They'll take the trash and leave the monitor. Besides, it's dangerous for them because the compactor can cause flying glass when it crushes the trash and that's in there.
