What is the voice recording capacity of a typical 1GB MP3 Player?

i need a voice recorder to take audio notes with, preferably one that records up to 1-2 hours continously, please give me some recs?

it depends on the program setting.. mine is only 1G but can record up 68hrs.. i've seen some with only 1hr capcity, basically intended for playing muzic only.
