Will an Acer X193WB 19" monitor be compatible w/windows XP?

I'm wanting to purchase this monitor as an upgrade for my 2005 HP. But, one of the reviews stated the it wasn't compatible with windows xp... I was told that it didn't matter which windows was installed, to only be aware of which power connection it had,
That monitor has DVI inputs (digital video input).
It sounds like your computer/video card has only analog?
You would need an adapter to connect analog to DVI.
It has nothing to do with your operating system (XP).
