Back in a day I used to have a nice tool that ran under Windows XP and could tell me any new changes done to the System Registry as they happen. I used it to see what some third-party software is actually doing with my computer
While I personally don't like such tools, one is included with the wonderful free program Spybot Search and Destroy, a spyware removal program. The tool itself is called TeaTimer.
