qosimo 3d gaming laptop eye tracking, can i cover the camera?

If i cover up the web camera, what will happen to the 3D? I don't like a web camera watching me. So I would like to cover it up, but want the 3D to still work. It supposedly needs to track your eyes. So..?
The 3D in the Qosmio uses the webcam to determine the position of your eyes. There is no recording of data, just tracking the position. The screen then dynamically adjusts the lens in the LCD panel to steer a different image to each of your eyes. The
