I have a compaq presario 2190us, I hooked my keyboard up and now it thinks its a mouse. I cant get it to chang

I am looking at least for a standard 101 key keyboard driver for windows.. but i cant find one.
I have it plugged into the keyboard/mouse port. there is only one as it is a laptop. but it thinks its a ps/2 touchpad for some reason.

Have you got the keyboard pluged into the correct port?
