Whats easier on the eyes, a CRT monitor with a high refresh rate or an LCD display?

LCD TV screens at close range seem fuzzy, are computer monitor lcd screens different?
LCD TV is fuzzy because the picture is low quality. If you watch a DVD it would be clearer than fine.
A LCD would be much easier on the eyes than CRT even at highest refresh rates. Just remember to keep your distance.
